The Winner is: #35 Amie Wouda. Congratulations!! Please email cathy (at) thebabymarketplace (dot) com to claim your fantastic prize!
So we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the latest offering from Little Soles, a fantastic children’s shoe company.
Little Soles offers urban class footwear for children. These shoes rock! And they keep getting better.
Better? Yes, better. Little Soles have always been high quality and afforadable. Add SAFE to the list; free from harmful toxins and dyes.
The collection has undergone rigorous, independent testing to ensure they are free of harmful dyes and toxins. This fantastic product is now safer than ever, not to mention less harmful to the earth.
Here’s a sneak squeak peak at my new faves.

Sqeaky! We love the squeaky shoes in our house! My daughter’s face lights up when she realizes she has squeaky shoes on. She always does a special little dance to get goin’ in these shoes.
Of equal importance…the squeaker can easily be removed (shhhh!) and put back in after some quiet time.

I am especially concerned about using safe skin products for my children.
May 29th, 2009 at 1:20 pm
My kids always get a diaper rash. I’m always trying new things in hope to find the safest and perfect one.

I don’t want anything to hurts their eyes, hair or skin. Thanks. angel_2417@yahoo.com

I’m very picky about anything that my son could potentially put in his mouth…toys, feeding utensils, etc.
May 29th, 2009 at 2:39 pm
My safe product issue is high chairs. At restaurants, friends or relatives homes you might get one without proper restraints or without a pummel, which can be very dangerous for younger infants.
May 29th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
Now that it cottage/camping season I am worried about all those bugs! I want to find a safe product to use on my children that will not harm them if they put their hands in their mouths!
May 29th, 2009 at 5:03 pm
I am concerned about any products that may touch my children’s skin and look for as many “all natural” products as I can. I also worry about the use of pesticides in our foods and the flouride in our water and so try to buy as much organic produce as the budget allows.
May 29th, 2009 at 7:17 pm
It’s hard to narrow down which safe thing is most important
food, toys, cleaning products- the list goes on…
May 29th, 2009 at 11:28 pm
These are so darn cute - and good for you to “boot” (pun intended).
I am already a fan.
May 29th, 2009 at 11:32 pm
Opps - forgot to mention what “safe” products I like. I like the no VOC’s paint for the walls … and the BPA free bottles like “Born Free”. It’s so important to me that I avoid all possible toxins, without being too obsessive about it.

I love the shoes and knowing they are doing no harm to my baby makes me smile every time I look at them, and it doesn’t hurt that they are SO adorable!!

The products I want to be the safest are those that go in the girls mouth or on their skin.
My favorite shoe is the mary janes with cherries and the dark red t strap

the Safe products I like are products that not only take the children’s wellbeing into consideration(organic, natural and toxic free) but also the environment as well
June 2nd, 2009 at 5:52 pm
I try to make sure that all of the toys that children play with are safe and age appropriate

Some safe products that are important to me are toys and sunscreen

SAFE and CUTE?! Awesome! Always good to be fashionable while not sacrificing safety. The cherry MJ’s are to-die-for cute!

With all the controversy about while kids have become ill with different vaccines and other toxins, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
June 3rd, 2009 at 9:39 am
I think that all floor cleaning products are important, our baby crawls all over the floor/carpet and I want to make sure that whatever I use to clean them is safe for the baby!
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:57 am
The SAFE products that are important to me are cleaning products! Even with cabinet locks, kids can still get sick from touching or playing where you have cleaned. It’s scary! Also BPA free sippys!
June 3rd, 2009 at 10:44 pm
All products are important to be safe! For example I double checked if the bamboo wipes I wanted to buy were free of any harmful chemicals.
June 4th, 2009 at 5:12 am
I am the safest thing in our whole house, unfortunately. Since I am neither for sale nor a product, I’m going to have to say car seats! We spend entirely too much time in our car, but it’s nice to know they’re safe and comfortable.
June 5th, 2009 at 11:59 am
I am striving to make my entire house safe. We started using “green” homemade cleaners, we cloth diaper, eat whole and organic food when we can, and we try to take our shoes off at the door to keep pesticides and other contaminates out of our house. I poated a review of the book Healthy Child Healthy World on my blog. Thanks!

I’m trying to protect my children’s skin by rigorously applying the best organic skincare products.
June 6th, 2009 at 5:54 am
I worry most about chemicals in diapers since my daughter has reactions to them. I cloth diaper and make my own laundry detergent to keep her little bum rash free.
June 8th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
My son has sensitive skin so I make sure he has “safe” products for his skin like lotions and body wash!
June 8th, 2009 at 7:33 pm
We make sure to use natural bath products, safe sippy cups and green cleansers around the house.

I try to use safe products on her skin, cleaning products in the house and eat healthy + organic foods.
June 8th, 2009 at 8:02 pm
I love using cloth diapers since they are chemical free on my babies bums. I also love Method Baby laundry detergent. Works great on the diapers and smells sooo nice! Most of my cleaning is done using borax, baking soda, and vinegar. My mop is one of those Shark ones, which steam cleans my floor.

I am concerned with using safe cleaning products. Also, safe products for her such as lotions and soaps.
June 9th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
I’m really bothered by what we use on and in our bodies so we buy alot of organic and i’ve started making my own face cleaning stuff and face and baby lotion. I also make the solutions for cleaning the house. Yah vinegar and baking soda!
June 9th, 2009 at 6:22 pm
My children have very sensitive skin and stomaches, so we depend on dye free soaps, laundry included, and fresh organic produce for my little sensitives! I also use Method cleaning products, especially for cleaning the tub!
June 10th, 2009 at 6:30 am
The safe product that seems to be the most important to me at the moment is GATES. My son has discovered cat food, so we need to exclude him from the kitchen while the poor cat eats. Then said cat goes outside, because my son has discovered that the cat has a tail that is fun to pull.

Oh, these are adorable! As for safety related items, car seat safety is something that is VERY important to me. I spend a LOT of time researching car seats, as we are needing a new one soon!
