On day one of our summer vacation I have learned something very important.  I will take the driver’s seat, thank you very much.

I used to drive on vacations until the arrival of our daughter.  Since then I have always ridden “shotgun”.  Well today that changed and I don’t think I will go back. 

Sure, the driver can’t read a book, check email, surf the internet, twitter.  Guess what the driver doesn’t have to do though?

Undo their seatbelt to:

Dig for apple juice at the bottom of the cooler.

Kink their neck trying to find goldfish crackers.

Capture that teddy bear, book, toy that just won’t stay seated with DD.

And most importantly, the driver doesn’t have to deal with this…

La La La Lalala.   One more day of driving.

I love that many people that cloth diaper are interested to know what’s in your stash.  For some unknown reason its always interesting to see what other the people have and use for cloth diapers. 

Our stash is ever changing, mostly because we are lucky enough to try out lots of great new products.  There are the diapers that come and go, work better at different ages, sizes and phases. And there are cloth diapers that are staples and seem to stick around in the old stash forever.

Here’s a few cloth diapers and cloth diaper covers that are favorites in my stash right now:The one and only bumGenius one size all in one. Love this diaper right now. DD is wearing this on the largest setting and double stuffed it has recently become the night time diaper of choice.

Sammy’s One Size Cotton Sherpa. This one has been in our stash since the beginning and I still love this the most. What do I like? Snap closure, one size, snap out liner (quick dry time) and it washes up great!

Chinese prefolds. Another diaper that has been there since the beginning that I just love. I don’t snappi or pin, I simply fold into a Bummis Super Snap or Super Whisper Wrap. Super easy, super economical.
